Cobb China’s newly constructed hatchery and grandparent farm, located in Suzhou province, is due to be ready for business in September.
“Both our farm production complexes have been operating since December last year and we’ve met all our high standards for biosecurity, training and environment friendliness,” said Cobb’s operations director for China, Denny Chan.
“When the hatchery is finished, we will be in full production to supply parent stock to customers who have signed contracts with us. We are also confident that we will gain additional customers and increased market share in China.”
Mr Chan was speaking after the official opening of the company’s office, which is located on the same site as the hatchery and grandparent farm.
