Poultry farmers and farm staff are being encouraged to take part in a new industry survey examining how professional-use rodenticides are being used on UK farms, with participants receiving a £20 thank you payment for their time.
The research, commissioned by Think Wildlife and carried out by Grounded Research, forms part of the latest Knowledge, Attitudes and Practice survey designed to better understand rodenticide use in real farming situations.
The findings will help inform future guidance and industry decisions through the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU), ensuring best practice reflects the realities faced by farmers.
Researchers say responses from poultry producers are currently under-represented and are keen to hear from more businesses that use professional-use anticoagulant rodenticides as part of their pest control programmes.
The online survey takes around 20 minutes to complete, requires no preparation and is completely anonymous, with responses visible only to Grounded Research. Participants will receive a £20 payment as a thank you for taking part.
Poultry producers who use professional-use anticoagulant rodenticides and would like to contribute to the research can complete the survey here:

Researchers are particularly keen to increase participation from the poultry sector to ensure its views and practical experiences are fully represented in the final findings.
