Chippindale Foods, part of Myton Food Group, has launched a new premium, golden yolk egg range called Kingsley.
The Kingsley name is a nod to the family farm in Harrogate where the Chippindale family first packed eggs by hand over 95 years ago. Today, Chippindales packs and grades over 14 million eggs per week at its packing centre in Flaxby.
Available in 378 Morrisons stores across the UK, a 10 pack of Kingsley eggs will cost £4.
Nathan Yelverton, general manager at Chippindales, said: ” This range honours the legacy of our business starting on Kingsley Farm in Harrogate, where the Chippindale family packed eggs by hand on the farm from 1930.
In the coming months, Chippindales is aiming to launch a new white shell version of Kingsley.
