Are you, or do you know, a rising star in the UK poultry sector? Time is running out to enter this year’s Young Poultry Person of the Year Award, with the deadline for nominations fast approaching on 1 September 2025.
Organised by the team behind the Egg and Poultry Industry Conference (EPIC), this award recognises the next generation of talent making a real impact on the UK egg and poultry industry. Now in its 13th year, the award was established in memory of the late Clive Frampton, a respected figure in egg processing and former owner of Frampton’s.
The award is open to anyone under the age of 40 working in any part of the UK egg and poultry industry. Whether they are driving innovation, improving productivity, or helping shape the future of the sector, EPIC wants to hear about them.
Candidates will be assessed on:
-
Their contribution to their company or organisation, and to the wider industry.
-
Innovative policies, programmes, or initiatives they’ve led that have advanced the sector.
The winner will be invited to attend this year’s EPIC Conference at Celtic Manor, South Wales, on 2–3 November 2025, including the pre-conference international buffet and formal banquet, as a special guest of the EPIC Committee.
To nominate yourself or someone else, simply email philip.clarke@markallengroup.com with up to 500 words explaining why your nominee deserves to win.
But act quickly, the closing date is Sunday 1 September 2025.
