Elanco has expanded its pig and poultry team with the appointment of Izzy Durrant as a monogastric farm services technician.
Durrant, who has a degree in biology from the University of Bath, joins from the company’s pet health division, where she has worked as a territory business manager for North West England.
She has been part of the team at Elanco since her third year at university when she completed a placement with the company’s pig and poultry marketing team
“I’m really looking forward to rejoining the team and bolstering their efforts to support producers in the face of various challenges, including Salmonella and E. coli control,” said Durrant.
“As part of my new role, I’ll be providing on-farm support to both egg producers and pig producers.”
Her work with layer producers will focus mainly on supporting them with Salmonella control and prevention, using products such as the AviPro vaccines, as well as delivering on-farm audits.
