Eureden Oeuf and Griffiths Family Foods (GFF) have announced the formation of a joint sales company, E&G Sales Co, to accelerate growth in the UK’s processed egg products sector. The new business will begin operations on 1 October and act as the exclusive sales platform for both companies’ value-added egg products in the British market.
The partnership unites Eureden’s European reach with GFF’s strong domestic presence. Eureden, part of the Breton cooperative agri-food group, sees the venture as a key step in its international growth strategy. It follows its 2023 acquisition of German egg specialist Ovofit.
For Shropshire-based GFF, owned by the Griffiths family, the move marks a bold expansion beyond shell egg production into the value-added segment. The new company will be headquartered in Shropshire and offer a full range of processed egg products, including liquid eggs, omelettes, poached eggs, and egg bites.
Rodolphe Millet, Director of Eureden’s Egg Division, said the venture will “mutually strengthen our position in the UK market,” highlighting Eureden’s ambition to lead the European processed egg sector.
Elwyn Griffiths, Managing Director of GFF, added: “We are delighted to work with Eureden, whose values and agricultural roots align with ours. Together, we are ideally positioned to grow and better serve our customers.”
