The NFU has expanded its Turkey Finder online tool to include seasonal poultry producers selling direct to consumers ahead of Christmas 2026.
The free online postcode search tool previously focused on farm-fresh turkeys but will now also include capons, cockerels, ducks and geese.
The NFU said the tool provides a promotional opportunity for seasonal poultry businesses, allowing customers to find local producers and access their website, telephone number and email address.
The Turkey Finder attracts around 7,000 visits from the public in the run-up to Christmas, with thousands of visits taking place during the week of the NFU’s annual Buy My Turkey campaign.
NFU members producing seasonal birds can add their business to the directory or update existing details using an online form. The deadline for submissions and amendments is 30 October.
The NFU’s 2026 #BuyMyTurkey Day campaign will take place on Friday 4 December.
