Hubbard’s global sales director, David Fyfe, is to retire in December after 41 years with the company.

Fyfe graduated in 1981 from Auchincruive Agricultural college in Scotland. He then joined the Shaver company spending five years working in the company’s R&D facilities as well as spells in its production and hatcheries before taking charge of production facilities in France.

In 2017, after 36 years of technical, marketing and commercial responsibilities and experience in the field, and serving the company under various ownerships, he took over the global business direction of Hubbard under the general management of Olivier Rochard.

When he retires, Fyfe’s responsibilities will be split between several other people.

Bruno Briand will take over the responsibility of the global commercial department with the support of Mark Barnes in the Americas and Thomas Verrey in the AMEA region (Asia, Middle East & Africa), and maintains his direct sales responsibilities for Europe.

Briand joined Hubbard in June 2004 as head of planning and later on gradually expanded his activities to regional sales responsibilities. In June 2016, he was promoted to commercial director of the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa).

Thomas Verrey joined the Hubbard Sales Department in September 2008 after which he gradually took responsibility for the sales in the Middle East. Drawing on his knowledge of the markets, customers and the Hubbard teams, Verrey will now be in charge of the sales department for the Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) region.

Olivier Rochard, managing director of Hubbard said: “David Fyfe has dedicated a very large part of his life with passion to our company, our customers, and our teams. He has always been able to share his experience and knowledge with professionalism, kindness, and humour. He now accompanies the new generation by letting everyone take the measure of their new responsibilities with great attention and intelligence, saluting the many customers he has accompanied during his final journeys for Hubbard. We wish him a peaceful and nice life ‘away from Hubbard’ in his native Scotland which has forged him such a kind personality.”
