The British Lion eggs Instagram account, Eggrecipes, is continuing to grow in popularity, gaining an additional 5,000 followers since August 2016, according to the industry’s egg info service.
“Inspiring egg photography, new recipe collections, promotional videos, blogger Instagram takeovers and an advertising campaign have all contributed to the page reaching more than 17,500 followers,” said the organisation.
“A sponsored video trailer for British Egg Week’s #PutanEggonit street food event proved to be among the most popular recent posts.”
The account is now set to be taken over by lifestyle and food blogger, Maison Cupcake, at the beginning of next month.
