Those under 40 are able to apply for a fully funded place at this year’s Egg & Poultry Industry Conference (EPIC), taking place on 5 & 6 November in Newport, Wales, thanks to the Young Poultry Person Initiative, which was set up to encourage more young people involved in the poultry industry to attend the conference.
The programme is specifically targeted to people currently engaged either in employment or as a student within the UK poultry industry and applies to first time attendees only and be aimed primarily at people under the age of 40.
The EPIC organising committee with the generous help of the conference sponsors will fund successful applicants’ attendance at the 56th EPIC in 2023 (excluding travel to and from the conference), which consists of conference registration, two nights’ accommodation either in the conference hotel venue or nearby and attendance at both conference dinners.
