A fifteen strong team, from egg firm Stonegate, are taking part in a sponsored cycle from Lacock to Paris to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Starting on 26 October, the team, all part of Stonegate’s Enriched Eggs brand, will leave from the company’s headquarters and cycle 240 miles to the Eiffel Tower. The goal is to reach Paris on 28 October.
Adrian Gott, chief executive, said, “We are team of enthusiastic, if very much amateur, cyclists who are taking on this epic challenge. We will unquestionably face some tough periods on the ride, but Cancer Research UK is a charity close to our hearts and I’m hopeful that the fundraising we’re doing for the charities’ critical work will inspire us through to the finish line”
