Clifford Packaging, the corrugated packaging specialists to the egg packing industry, can now digitally print its packaging to expand the range of options available.
Geldard Farm Eggs required a 15 Mixed Weight Egg Bulker for their South Lakeland free range brand. This bulker (pictured) was printed in full colour on the outside and was also printed with a yolk colour on the insider to create additional impact at point of sale.
Clifford Packaging UK Sales Manager Rowan Tinn said: “We have successfully introduced large format Bulkers and Shipper displays into a number of our egg producing customers in the UK & Ireland. To be able to offer digital print gives us the flexibility of being able to offer brands relatively small quantities and bespoke designs for the increasingly popular bulker and shipper packaging format.
“Brands can have multiple prints on a single production run and furthermore there are no printing plate costs, making this an attractive solution for many businesses.”
