Premium Halal Meat & Poultry is recalling several Direct Poultry Products chicken products because the firm does not have approval. According to the Food Standards Agency, this means it is not known what production and hygiene procedures have taken place at the premises.
The Birmingham based company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought any of the product.
All batches of chicken breast, chicken legs, chicken wings, chicken thighs, chicken niblets, chicken tikka, chicken carcase, and chicken skin are included in the recall.
