While managing farm businesses at a time of such extreme volatility is both difficult and highly stressful, organisers of next week’s British Pig & Poultry Fair, are encouraging producers to come to the event to talk to other producers, hear the latest thinking, see new products and gather ideas to plan for the future.
Roly Taplin, chief operating officer at the RASE, said: “It can be tempting to batten down the hatches and concentrate on the farm alone – but it’s more important than ever to get out and meet people.”
Organisers said that there will be 66 new products on display at the Fair and the event will also host 330 exhibitors, who will be able to offer the latest advice, technology and solutions you need to take home for your business.
