The UK’s first dedicated conference on artificial intelligence in livestock farming, AI(Live), will take place on 23 September 2025 at the Science Museum in London. The event will bring together farmers, agri-tech innovators, policymakers, and food producers to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of animal agriculture, including the poultry sector.
Organised by Agsenze, AI(Live) will discuss the opportunities and ethical dilemmas that come with integrating AI into farming systems. There are plenty of relevant sessions for the poultry industry, as it is one of the most data-rich sectors in agriculture, meaning AI-powered tools, such as sensors can have a huge impact on decision-making on farm.
A central theme of the conference is the use of AI to support more sustainable and resilient supply chains. Speakers will discuss how technologies like predictive analytics can ensure poultry products are not only safe and affordable, but also transparently sourced. One panel discussion will explore what AI can contribute to net-zero farming goals, and whether current food systems are ready to embrace this level of digital transformation.
