RSPCA Assured is inviting members to register for a free webinar on Tuesday 1 July 2025, which will focus on the new RSPCA laying hen welfare standards.
The 90-minute session, starting at 6 pm, will be hosted virtually via Google Meet. The live webinar will provide a clear overview of the new standards, advice on implementation, as well as answering audience questions.
The webinar will be led by experts from the RSPCA’s Farm Animals Department and RSPCA Assured’s Farming and Technical Engagement Team. Five hundred spaces are available, but attendees are encouraged to register early to secure a place.
Emilie Wix, head of farming and technical engagement at RSPCA Assured, said: “We are excited to host this live webinar. It will be a really informative and useful session for those working towards meeting the new standards.
“We are offering the opportunity to submit questions ahead of the webinar so we can offer our advice and support to as many people as possible. There will also be a Q&A function on the day, so attendees can ask questions during the session. Any questions we can’t answer during the event will be followed up on afterwards via email.”
