Battles Poultry has launched two new products designed to improve poultry health and productivity.
Purple Guard Wound Spray is an advanced wound care solution tailored specifically for poultry, and is a natural purple spray containing gentian violet to promote healing properties. It has been created to provide rapid and effective care, ensuring that minor injuries don’t escalate into major health concerns.
The product is formulated to calm and soothe minor wounds to aid in natural healing while preventing pecking damage by disguising sores. Battles says that incorporating Purple Guard Wound Spray into the poultry care routine can significantly reduce the risk of infections.
Meanwhile, Seaweed Supplement is described as “a natural nutritional powerhouse of vitamins and minerals packed with health benefits”. It is intended to keep the flock at full strength by supporting eggshell strength and yolk colour, as well as aiding condition through increased nutritional intake.
Made from sustainably harvested seaweed, the product is said to be a particularly beneficial tool through moulting periods, due to healthy feather growth support.
