Moy Park and Aviagen have held a virtual awards ceremony to reward and encourage the top performing broiler growers in Northern Ireland.
An impressive 233 awards were given to 105 producers for performance results in 2019 and 2020, who were welcomed to the Ross 420 Club.
“We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of these star growers,” said Aviagen UK technical service manager Kieron Daniels. “They are a shining example of the performance heights possible when dedication and teamwork are combined with skilful stockmanship and attention to detail.”
During the awards webinar, Daniels took the opportunity to share with participants latest developments on disease control and prevention, while R&D manager Brendan Duggan updated them on the latest news from the Aviagen breeding program.
John Harrison, Moy Park’s live operations manager, said he gave full credit to the farmers for their hard work and commitment. “We thank these winners for their passion and talent, and are grateful for this opportunity to celebrate their achievements.”
