Last month, the judges of the National Egg & Poultry Awards held a conference call to examine all the entries and come up with the finalists in each category.
It was a tough job, with lots of excellent applicants. Some of the categories had a wide range of different entries and after a difficult year for everybody, it was encouraging to see a broad base of applicants from different parts of the supply chain.
The judges – Charles Bourns, Richard Griffiths, Aimee Mahony, Kannan Ganapathy, Mark Williams, Chloe Ryan, and Paul Kelly– all agreed there was a very high standard of entrant – and each winner will have made a significant achievement.
The full list of finalists will be published in September’s issue of Poultry Business.
Trade supplier of the year
As well as the categories already announced, we have another category which will be decided upon by you, the readers.
