Premier Nutrition has appointed Dr Melanie McAuley, extending its technical nutrition expertise.
Dr McAuley, who joined the company in February, will support customers across all species to ensure their nutrition programmes are fit for purpose and to optimise farm production. She will also be able to advise customers on formulation, labelling and regulation requirements.
Premier Nutrition’s commercial director, Alan Johnston, said: “We’re both delighted and excited to have Melanie join us, further enabling us to drive production improvements for our customers across UK & Ireland.”
Dr McAuley, multi-species nutritionist added: “I’m really excited to be joining Premier Nutrition, be amongst an exceptionally talented group of nutritionists, and get to know our customers and really understand their business and their objectives. I know the huge array of experience I have so far, both here and from overseas, will ensure we develop optimal feeding strategies with our customers for targeted and improved performance.”
Dr McAuley graduated from Queens University Belfast with a BSc Hons degree in Agricultural Technology and a PhD in pig nutrition and welfare.
