Aviagen has appointed Harrison Davies as broiler technical service manager, supporting customers across the UK and Scandinavia alongside Sean Harrison. Harrison stepped into the role on 17 February, bringing a wealth of hands-on poultry experience.
Davies has spent the past five years as an agricultural fieldsman at Gafoor, where he worked with more than 45 farms across the UK, ensuring quality standards and supporting operations supplying the Gafoor processing plant. Before that, he gained experience with both broilers and breeders in various roles at Annyalla and PD Hook.
Based in Shropshire, Davies will work closely with the UK and Scandinavian customer support team, reporting to Stuart Thomson, regional technical manager Northern Europe.
“We’re delighted to have Harrison on board,” said Thomson. “His knowledge, practical experience and passion for poultry will be a great asset to our customers. With his enthusiasm and commitment to producer success, he’s a great fit for our team.”
