Maelor Foods has reported an 11% increase in turnover in its annual results covering the year ending 31 July 2020. Sales reached £95.4m, up from £85.9m in the previous 12 months.

Profit before tax also grew substantially during the same period, reaching £5.68m, up from £2.9m the previous year.

The Wrexham-based firm, which was formed six years ago, said in its annual report it expected growth to continue at a similar level in the years to come. It was backed with a £3.15m grant from the Welsh Government’s Food Business Investment Scheme.
