A new partnership between environmental footprinting platform Sustell and farm management software provider PoultryPlan aims to make it easier for poultry farmers to measure and report the environmental impact of their operations.
The system uses existing farm data—such as feed use, flock performance and resource consumption, to calculate environmental footprints, helping producers identify emissions hotspots and areas for improvement.
As retailers, processors and food businesses increasingly request sustainability data from suppliers, tools that simplify environmental reporting could help reduce the administrative burden on farms while supporting compliance with supply chain requirements.
The collaboration combines PoultryPlan’s farm management software with Sustell’s environmental assessment platform, allowing farmers to generate footprint data using internationally recognised methodology while retaining control over how their farm data is shared.
