Kate Stein has been appointed as the new group quality, sustainability & agriculture director for all businesses in Boparan Holdings Ltd and Boparan Private Office.
She has a wealth of experience having worked in the food industry for 30 years, during which time she has held executive positions in large consumer-facing businesses, most recently as Sainsbury’s director of technical and in similar roles at Pret A Manger and M&S.
Reporting directly to Ranjit Singh, Stein will be taking on responsibility for agriculture, technical, food safety, health & safety and food systems & sustainability.

Stein joins the business on 29 September 2025.
