Skea Eggs has reported an increase in sales and profits in its latest annual accounts covering the year ending 31 December 2023.
Turnover for the year was £159.7 million, up from £101.6 million the previous year. Profit for the year after taxation in 2023 was £5.4 million, up from £2.5 million in 2022.
The directors of the Northern Ireland based egg packer said they were satisfied with the performance over the past year, given the continued difficulties in the egg market. New contract wins in the latter part of 2022 contributed to the increase in sales revenues.
